AmeriHealth Mercy to Present on Health Care Reform
and on Quality Improvement
Philadelphia, PA – The AmeriHealth Mercy Health Mercy Family of Companies will present at the Medicaid Managed Care Congress in Baltimore on how Medicaid will be affected by the new health care reform law, which is expected to add 16 million recipients to the program.
Christopher Drumm, Senior Vice President of Government & External Affairs, will be a panelist on the “Healthcare Reform and Its Impact on the Consumer” discussion on Tuesday, May 18 at 9:15 a.m.
AmeriHealth Mercy staff will also take part in a discussion on quality improvement efforts.
Tina Morton, RN, BSN, CCM, CPHQ, CHCQM, Senior Director of Quality Management, will be a panelist on the “Measuring Quality in Fee-for-Service and Managed Care to Evaluate Cost and Quality Improvements” case study discussion on Wednesday, May 19 at 12:15 p.m.
The 18th Annual Medicaid Managed Care Congress will be at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, Maryland from Monday, May 17, through Wednesday, May 19. The Medicaid Managed Care Congress will include national policy experts, Medicaid managed care executives and federal and state officials discussing how to maintain quality care for patients while keeping costs contained.
